Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, what we have implemented, the limitations we know about, and how to reach us if something blocks you.
Effective date: July 30, 2026 · Last reviewed: July 30, 2026
We want every buyer, specifier and supplier to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is treated as part of maintaining the site, not a one-off project.
1. The standard we aim for
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We believe the site substantially conforms today, and we re-check whenever pages change.
2. What we have done
- Semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists so assistive technology can navigate structure
- A visible “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element on every page
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Text and background colour combinations tested to meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
- Form fields with permanent, associated labels rather than placeholder-only hints
- Full respect for the operating system's prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations and scroll effects are disabled automatically
- Layout that reflows to 320 pixels wide and remains usable at 200% text zoom
3. Known limitations
The technical specification tables on the catalog and quality pages scroll horizontally on small screens; the data is complete but requires sideways scrolling on a phone. If you would like any table sent as an accessible document, ask and we will email it.
4. Tell us if something blocks you
If any part of this website prevents you from getting the information you need, contact us and we will supply that information another way — by email, by post or over the telephone — while we fix the underlying issue. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days.
