Everything below applies to wholesale shipments from our mill at 607 Canal Street, Helena, Montana 59620. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. How we ship
- Roll goods are wound to your requested put-up (25–120 yards), wrapped in kraft or clear film, labelled with the construction reference, colour, lot number and exact yardage, and shipped on a pallet by LTL freight.
- Cut lengths and samples ship by parcel carrier, typically ground service, with tracking emailed on the day of dispatch.
- Collect shipments on your own carrier account are welcome; give us the account number and a routing instruction on the purchase order.

Goods ship FOB Helena, Montana. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the carrier; title passes on full payment.
3. Where we ship
We ship to all fifty U.S. states, and we regularly deliver into the lower 48 by LTL. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are quoted individually. Shipments into Canada and Mexico are handled case by case, with the customer acting as importer of record and responsible for duties, taxes and brokerage.
4. Receiving and inspection
- Count the pieces against the delivery receipt before signing.
- Note any visible damage, water staining or shortage on the carrier's paperwork — a clean signature makes a freight claim very difficult.
- Photograph damaged packaging before unwrapping.
- Check the yardage, construction reference, colour and lot number against the inspection ticket on each roll.
- Test-cut and, where relevant, test-sew a small piece before spreading the whole roll.
5. Claims and returns
Quality claims. Notify us in writing within 30 days of delivery, on uncut goods, quoting the roll and lot numbers and including photographs and a 12-inch full-width cutting. We respond to claims within two business days. Where a claim is upheld, we replace the yardage or issue a credit at our option and pay the return freight.
Freight damage. Report it to us within 48 hours of delivery with the annotated delivery receipt and photographs, so we can file with the carrier inside their window.
Ordering errors. If you ordered the wrong construction or colour, contact us within 14 days. Uncut, unopened stocked goods in original packaging may be returned subject to prior written authorisation and a 20% restocking charge; return freight is at your cost.
Non-returnable. Custom-coloured, custom-developed and cut-to-order goods, and any fabric that has been cut, sewn, washed, coated or otherwise processed, cannot be returned.
6. How to start a return
Email admin@imranweaving.com with the subject line “Claim – [your PO number]”. Include the invoice number, roll and lot numbers, yardage affected, photographs and a short description. We will issue a written authorisation number; goods returned without one may be refused at the dock.
7. Held and scheduled orders
We can hold finished yardage for scheduled release for up to 90 days at no charge as part of a blanket order. Beyond 90 days, storage is charged monthly and the balance is invoiced in full.
